What´s the logic behind the A35.8 and not a "A25.8" to partner the SP25 Prisma?

There is no significant cost savings to be realised in producing an additional unbalanced input only amplifier model. However, there is a significant cost savings in producing an unbalanced input/output 11 channel processor, that is the SP25 Prisma, when compared to a fully balanced 16 channel reference processor, that will be the SP36. In fact, the SP36 will be nearly twice the price of the SP25 Prisma. So, the SP25 Prisma, based on the already developed SPA25 Prisma video and audio processing circuitry, follows the 25 series model in being an unbalanced only input/output component providing a cost effective alternative to the 35 series components that offer both balanced and unbalanced input/outputs. Additionally, our chief engineer developed a completely new preamplification circuit for the SP25 Prisma that not only provides exemplarily performance, but also the template for future preamplifiers. Ultimately, the SP25 Prisma/A35.8 pair allows for a home cinema separates system at essentially 2/3 the price of an SP36/A35.8 pair, while for those looking for similar performance but at a lower cost, SPA25 Prisma is designed to fill that need. This effectively achieves our goal of providing the best possible experience for the greatest number of people.
