With Spotify Connect, you can use one device to remotely control listening on another device, such as a Prisma component, noting that all devices need to be on the same WiFi.
To use Spotify Connect
- Open Spotify and play something.
- Press Connect device icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Pick the device you want to play on.
To switch to Lossless playback
Spotify's Lossless playback feature (up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC) is an exclusive benefit for users with an active Premium subscription. It is not available on the free, ad-supported tier.
To enable Lossless
- Open the Spotify app on your mobile, desktop, or tablet device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top left corner.
- Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Media Quality.
- Select where you want to enable lossless audio: Wi-Fi, cellular, or downloads.
Note - Lossless must be manually enabled on each device you use:
- Tap the device icon when listening to a song.
- Select a playing device.
- Tap Change quality settings.
- Select Lossless.
Connect not working?
- Restart the Spotify app.
- Restart your Prisma device.
- Restart the device running the Spotify app.
- Make sure your Spotify app is up-to-date.
- Make sure all devices’ software is up-to-date.
- Confirm that all devices are connecting to the same WiFi.
- Restart your router.
