Primare IR Extender Instructions

We have tested the König IR-EGGS3 powered IR extender for effective use with Primare products, noting that similar powered IR extenders we have not tested may also work effectively.

Equipment

• König IR-EGGS3 powered IR extender
• 1 x 3.5mm mono female socket to 2.5mm mono male plug adapter
• 1 x 3.5mm mono cable

Installation

Note: the IR eye cables that come with the extender will not be used for this installation.

1. Plug the 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter into the “IR Probe” socket of the extender.
2. Plug the 3.5 mono cable into the adapter and the “IR In” socket on the back panel of the Primare product.
3. Plug the power supply of the extender into the “Power In” socket of the extender and then into an AC power socket.
4. Place the extender in “line of site” position to use.
