Why is my remote not working?

Be sure you have installed fully charged, preferably new, batteries and that you have pressed the main function button that corresponds with the device you wish to control (for example, press CD to control a CD player, AMP for an integrated amplifier, PRE for preamplifier, etc.) 

If the steps above do not restore remote function, reboot the compoenent by turning it off and then back on after a few seconds using the back panel main AC power switch.
